Congressman Pearce Reaffirms Support for Veterans

Statement

Today, Congressman Steve Pearce signed the Veteran Employment Pledge with the Americans for Employing Veterans.

"Our veterans made great sacrifices in the name of liberty," said Pearce. "We live in a free nation today, because of their dedication and courage. We must continue to honor that. This petition is one way to publicly reaffirm my commitment to honoring the men and women who defended America. As the pledge says, I will continue to work for those who served and fought for our country, and I will always remember the price of freedom."

The pledge states that Congressman Pearce will support legislation that will help veterans "find a job, receive education and training support, gain expedient access to Veterans Administration services, and never fear becoming homeless or conclude suicide over survival an only option."
